Researchers and practitioners are starting to explore interactions between COVID-19, water demand and climate, which have implications for the water sector in Florida and on a national scale. This webinar will feature recent research on impacts of COVID-19 on water demand trends in Florida as well as a discussion on COVID-19 and climate change interactions, such as hurricane season considerations and susceptibility to the disease. The FloridaWCA will also provide a sneak peek at the latest high-resolution seasonal forecasts they have developed as part of a NASA-funded research project.
